Gemini isn't one shape. It's two. Eleven stars split into two lines standing side by side, head to foot, mirrored down the sky. Castor marks the top of one line. Pollux marks the top of the other, right beside it. In 1603, astronomer Johann Bayer catalogued the sky by brightness. He labelled Castor Alpha, first letter, meant for the brightest star. Pollux got Beta, second letter. He had it backwards. Pollux burns brighter. Nobody's ever fixed the label. Each line…
