The Mumbai skyline does not follow a master plan. It rises in fragments, colonial domes give way to concrete blocks, which yield to towering glass monoliths that scrape the coastal monsoon clouds. Driving on the sea link, at twilight, the city's skyline becomes a black silhouette punched with erratic, brilliant squares of yellow light. There is no symmetry to this horizon. It is a collective roar made visible in stone and steel, where every structure fights for its own share of the sky. To capture this restless geometry, we set vertical needle baguettes side-by-side in a jagged, unaligned sequence. Tiny gold prongs cap each shifting height like the distant streetlamps that anchor the base of Marine Drive. Staggered columns of clean light. Gold tracing an uneven coast. The pulse of the island city, held in a continuous circle.
